Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Help identify this cookie please.?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Help identify this cookie please.?),it will help you,my kids.
I've had it a few times, but don't the exact name. It looks like a sugar cookie. It's a soft white cookie with a thin layer of kind of hard icing. What makes it different is that it has a strong almond/amarreto flavoring. They are the best cookies and I've had them from more than one source, so I don't think they are just sugar cookies with flavoring. It would be a coincidence for two people to flavor the cookies the same way unless there is a specific name for these cookies. Does anyone know what I'm talking about.

Why not ask the person who gave you one?
It sounds like the mexican wedding cookies but normally those ones have confectioners sugar coating but I could see someone altering them with a glaze.
oh i know what your talking about but i can't remember the name. i'm think the name of it is an almond cookie. But they are very good. Why don't you ask the person who gave them to you.
A lot of sugar cookie recipes call for almond flavoring so it is probably just an iced sugar cookie where they used almond to flavor the cooking and the icing.
