Answers: Use high heat and butter the skillet really good and leave them on a bit longer than usually, wait longer before flipping, you'll have to watch them closely!. Using more butter is the trick!.

I don't recall ever having crispy pancakes!. I prefer soft and moist, but try using shortening (Crisco) to fry in rather than butter!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Make certain you have a really hot griddle or pan with a thin layer of oil in it!.

the crispiness depends on how hot your grittle is (or pan)!.!.!.and how thick your batter is!. if the batter is thicker!.!.!.its going to take them longer to cook!.!.!.making them soggierWww@FoodAQ@Com
