poke it

wen they dont break wen you drop um' Put a pan of water on the stove and put the eggs in the water. Make sure there is enough water to completely submerge the eggs. Bring the water to a boil with the eggs and let them boil anywhere from 10-20 min. 10 min for soft boiled (still kind of soft in the center, or longer for a harder boiled egg. If you peel it and the yoke is kind of a greyish-green, that's OK. Eggs do that sometimes.

time them 7 min from the time the water reaches boiling point if you are boiling that many all together you can allow an extra few minutes but over boiling will crack them

friends a chef

Put them in a pan of boiling water... heat for about 7 minutes...

They float to the top of the pan. ten minnite is hard.

Sorry, I may be late depending on your time zone, but the trick my mother taught me was to spin them. It's better if you have a non-boiled egg to compare them to. A boiled one will spin faster and more easily, while one that's still liquidy inside will move in a lumpy, slower fashion. If the two eggs spin much the same way, chances are the boiled one isn't boiled yet. I hope this helps!

is this code for something else?
I used to go to school with a boy and his brother used to "Hard Boil" his mothers "eggs" allegedly.
I happenend!!!
I just made it up!!!

I time how long I boil the eggs. If your eggs are cold (stored in fridge), boil them for 20minutes to be on the safe side. If your eggs are room temperature, 10 minutes is more than enough.

Have fun!

Put the whole lot in a large saucepan, fill over the top of them with warm water from the tap, bring to the boil, put a spoon of salt into the saucepan to prevent them breaking, boil them for six minutes. Fill the sink with cold water and drop the eggs into it when done. Check one egg and if it is ok, so be it. If not put them back on for another couple of minutes. Keep them in boiled water for 20 minutes. After that stop boiling and uncover them. You are done!

HARD-BOILED EGGS

1. Cold water at least 1 inch about egg(s)

2. Heat to boiling in saucepan; remove from heat. Cover and let stand 18 minutes. Immediately cool briefly in cold water to prevent further cooking. Tap egg to crack shell; roll egg between hands to loosen shell, then peel.

3. If shell is hard to peel, hold egg in cold water while peeling.
