Answers:
I actually throw out the packet and eat them raw. When I do cook them, I boil them, drain them, and add the sauce, leaving about 2 tablespoons of liquid left in them.
Having said that, I don't eat them often. The sodium content is too high....
Other Answers:
Add hot water......duh.....Its the way to go.
crush it all up, throw it in a small plastic cup, dump in the flavor, put it in the micro for a bit, stir, micro again, then enjoy I fill it up with tap water (leave the paper flap on) and I put it in the microwave for 2mins.
break it up into bowl, remove seasoning packet (too salty)
add butter and 2 slices American cheese-and minimum H2O. Nuke..eat at desk while working.
well if you want to know how many different ways people eat them, i boil them drain them put the seasoning package on them, pour some hot sauce(louisiana hot sauce)stir it all together and yum, yum!i ate that when i was pregnant for my son and i still love it!! Pour hot, boiling water into the noodles. Then wait about five to ten minutes. Then eat it.
I usually prepare them by the package directions and then drain about 1/2 of the water off before adding the seasoning packet. I don't really like to eat it like soup, rather just the noodles. I also like to add a small amount of hoi sin sauce, it makes it taste similar to lo mein.
I quarter the noodle mass if I'm cooking them for my daughter; otherwise, I leave the block o' noodles whole. I boil them for about 4 minutes and then drain all but about a tablespoon of water before adding the seasoning. I like the flavored noodles, not flavored soup with noodles. The noodles tend to stay steamy for quite sometime...which doesn't sit well with my daughter. So, for her...I'll dump the noodles into a strainer and run hot water over them. The hot water will cool the noodles down from the boiling temperature, but still keep them warm enough to eat. Then I place them back in the pan, add seasoning...and, voila!
In college I had some friends that would eat the noodles dry...like potato chips, or something. Actually, I know some kids today that do the same thing. I guess it's a widely accepted form of eating Ramen...although I don't think I could get used to that. Hmm..!
make it the way you usually make it (w/hot water), then when it's done, mix in the packet, ADD BACON BITS, and louisiana hot sauce w/ lemon... it's the best!!!! Put water in pot, when boil add noodles water. Drain. Add fresh water to boil again. Add noodles, ham (or shreddred chicken, pork, beef, turkey—I personally love to add SPAM and egg), vegetables, soup seasonings, and sesame oil.
I thought the other answers would be how to turn ramen into something less junklike...boy was I mistaken. Personally, the way to go for me is to throw the foul seasoning packet out, then jazz up the soup with scrambled egg (like egg drop soup) and fresh leafy vegetables, maybe a little frozen shrimp, some fish sauce and some sesame oil. And fish balls if I have some.
Either that or ditch the broth and put something like spaghetti sauce on them.
