Ideally you used grilled or blackened fish. Pick a firm fish like red snapper. You can also used fried/battered fish, but that is the pathetic americanized way of doing thing. DIRECTIONS:
COMBINE sour cream, mayonnaise, cilantro and 2 tablespoons seasoning mix in small bowl.
COMBINE cod, vegetable oil, lemon juice and remaining seasoning mix in medium bowl; pour into large skillet. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with fork.
FILL taco shells with fish mixture. Top with cabbage, tomato and sour cream mixture, lime juice and taco sauce.
Use small pieces of fried fish instead of what ever meat you normally use in tacos.
I like fish tacos they are great.
Oh, ick! What a nasty idea! Seriously, you make 'em as you would any other taco. You can do quite nicely with salmon and trout. I've had one made with catfish, too, and though I much prefer chicken and beef tacos, it turned out pretty good. Guess I'm just a traditionalist at heart. But hey - fish is a lot better for ya than beef or pork, so I say Go For It! Don't forget the salad, either!

brush a firm white fish filet such as haddock with olive oil. salt and pepper and grill till flakes easily with fork. serve in white flour tortillas with lettuce and sauce (smash one avocado and mix with one sm. container of plain fat free yogurt, add a splash of lemon or lime juice and salt and pepper to taste).
