This Basic Omelette Recipe makes 2 servings.

Ingredients
? 6 eggs
? 1/2 teaspoon salt
? dash of pepper
? 3 tablespoons water
? 3 tablespoons margarine

Preparation
In a medium bowl, beat eggs with a fork, then add salt, pepper and water and beat again. In a nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Pour eggs into heated pan. As eggs cook, lift up edges and tip pan to allow the uncooked egg on top to flow under the cooked eggs. Omelette is done when bottom if browned and edges are set.
With eggs. You do the same thing as scrambling, but the eggs should become one patty, then you put that on a plate, put whatever inside that you want, and flip one side over the other, like a taco sideways, and voila!

...and now this has made me hungry...
Scramble some eggs(2 per Person) in a bowl, add to a hot buttered pan, once outside cooked add your choice of veg/meats.
fold in half, sprinkle some cheese, once melted your good to go.

Let it cook until it firms up add your ingredients, ie ham, cheese, onions, peppers whatever you want then carefully fold the other half on top of the stuffing, let it cook for a few minutes more, transfer to a plate and enjoy.
An omelet is just scrambled eggs that you don't disturb while cooking (till cooked)
break 2-3 eggs per person eggs in a bowl mix well with a fork or whisk
heat frying pan or grill and add Pam spray or a little oil
pour eggs in to pan and reduce heat
as eggs harden take a spatula and puul hardened eggs away from the edge of tthe pan and allow liquid to flow in the hole
when eggs are almost done put fillings on top (cheese ham onions etc)
fold flat eggs in half over fillings allow fillings to heat up
eat it up yum yum

WHAT?! well, scramble as many eggs as you want in a bowl, add salt, pepper, and anything else you want in the scrambled eggs, pour them onto a pan at medium to low heat. just let them cook for a while, do not stir them. put cheese and some kind of filling in when it's not quite completely cooked. Then take one side of the round egg disc, and fold it ontop of the other side, and let it cook some more. Thats it =)
For one omelet
2 eggs
1 teaspoon water
Pam for the fry pan
Crack eggs add water and beat them with fork or wisk
Spray fry pan with Pam so it doesn't stick
Put flame on medium heat
Pour eggs with water in fry pan and cover
When you see the eggs getting harder, add whatever you like on one side of the pan, cheese, ham, bacon, onions, whatever, flip the other side with spatula over onto the the side with your toppings, put heat to low so it can heat through. About 1 1/2 minutes should do.
Slide your omelet onto plate
Hope this helps.
ok dude. i'll take the time to give it to you straight since i think i make the best omelets. ok four eggs. take four eggs and scramble them. add about three tablespoons of milk. it seems like a lot but trust me. while your scrambling the eggs heat a fry pan with oil or butter( i prefer butter) if you use butter wait until the butter gets foamy looking. that's when you tell teh pan is hot.
once the pan is hot and tthe eggs are mixed well, pour the eggs on the fry pan. during the first 30 or 45 seconds kind of fluff the eggs with a fork or just use the end of the spatulla. after about 3 or 4 minutes, when the eggs are pretty solid you have to flip it. now this ttakes practice and your gonna make a mess but don't get discouraged you can do it if you practice.
once you et it flipped then you add the stuff. ham and chees are my fav but you can put anything in a omelet. i even used hot dogs a couple of times. peppers tomatoes... anything. i use two slices of american cheese. and two slices of ham. i break the cheese in half to get it even. then as soon as you get the stuff on it fold it in half. (also takes practice) it's easy once you get the hang of it. you have to add the stuff kind of quick though cause eggs cook fast. have everything ready. once you have it folded in half it should be a breeze to get it on the plate. make sure you cook it through so the eggs are good and firm.
ok my lunch break is over dude. have a good breakfast.
Take a frying pan, put a little bit of butter in lit. Put it on medium heat and melt the butter and if you like onions saute some chopped onions in it. While onions are cooking, put as many eggs as your going to want typically two or three in a mugs and use a fork to mix it up. Put a little bit of pepper and salt in the mixter and put the mixter in the frying pan. Let the egg cook a little until it is getting solid and than turn the eggs over until they are done. This is how I make my husbands omlets and he loves them. You can add other favorite things you like. Like Ham, green pepper cheese.

Myself
Someone just gave a receipe for an Omelet in a Zip-Loc freezer bag. Here it is so check it out.

ZIPLOC OMELET
(This works great !!! Good for when all your family is together. The best part is that no one has to wait for
their special omelet !!!)
Have guests write their name on a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag with permanent marker.
Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them.
Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, salsa, etc.
Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake. Make sure to get the air out of the
bag and zip it up.
Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes. You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot.
For more, make another pot of boiling water.
Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily.
Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.
Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved in the process and a great conversation piece.
I flop at the omlet thing, so what I do is
heat pan and saute' onion, ham, bell pepper, mushroom, broccolli, whatever you want in it. while that cooks, I scramble 2-4 eggs in a bowl. when the veggies are tender, I add the eggs, let cook, stirring occasionally.
Everybody has a trick or two for omelets, so if you never have done it a recipe might not be any good. This is a method you could try though, real easy...you just need to get everything prepared before starting.

Take 3 eggs and whisk them with 2-3 Tablespoons of milk. If you don't have a whisk use a fork. Beat them well. Take a small saute pan, something with rounded sides, spray the pan with cooking spray and add a bit of butter. Heat the pan for a minute or 2 until butter is melted. Add the beaten egg. When the edges have start to cook start lifting them up and letting the uncooked egg slide underneath. Do this all away around the pan until not much liquid is left. Now add your meat, veggies and/or cheese if you like. I put a lid on top and turn off the heat for a minute or so. Take the lid off. Get your spatula up under one side and flip it. Omelette should slide right on to your plate. Good luck and Enjoy.
its like scrambled eggs, but when u scramble the eggs put what u want in the omellete in
