Answers:
Clean well with white wine vinegar. The acidity of the vinegar will dissolve the rust.

Make sure you rinse kettle thoroughly before re-using.

Other Answers:
Buy a new one made of plastic.

There may be ways to remove it, but they are harsh and chemical. It's time for a new kettle! get rid of it or it will poison you, $10 for a new one!!

use an SOS pad and elbow grease

Put a couple tablespoons of CLR *calcium, lime, rust remover* in the kettle with hot water. Let it sit and clean it out with soapy water when you've finished.

There's stuff at the grocery store called CLR and it removes calcium deposits, lime deposits and rust.

You want to wash it really well after you've used it, but it does work.

you can't buy a normal kettle made of plastic otherwise it would melt. you can buy an electric one. you can't remove rust, just buy a stainless steel one! It will last for ages I agree coke works veeeeeery well.

use rust remover but never use it again.it can kill you.
