Answers: Deviled eggs are simple and are always a hit at BBQ's!. You can make it different then your average devilled egg by adding a little dijon mustard instead of yellow mustard, and also adding stuff like cheese to them or bacon chooped up!. The last party I went to I took jalepenos for nachos and put one on top of each deviled egg!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
Please avoid bringing potato salad as cooked potatoes need to be kept very cold or very hot to avoid growing bacteria!. also avoid any kind of salad that may have mayo in it!. If you do want to though put your dish into a mixing bowl that you have a larger version of and fill the larger one with ice!. That said here are some great easy recipes I love;

Nuts-honey roasted peanuts are awesome!

Toss together to a good consistancy
Spinach dip-
The directions are on the back of the Knorr vegetable soup mix you use to make it in!. Serve with bread, toasted crackers, vegetables!.!.!.
Make mini meatballs (or buy) and serve in phyllo cups (sold in the freezer section of the grocery store) with a little marinara and parm on top
Italian salad skewers
Skewer little chunks (or balls sold in most grocery stores) of fresh mozzarella alternated with cherry tomatoes and basil leaves (tomato, basil, mozz if you use toothpicks, and tom, bas, mozz, bas, tom if you use mini skewers)
I love things on sticks! Cut up a fruit salad mix of fruit and skewer them!. Pineapples, mangoes, strawberries, and include a little mint leaves or basil for pretties! Make up a fruit dip--cream cheese, sour cream and preserves to taste to serve along side!.
