1 POUND LEAN GROUND BEEF
1/2 CUP BREAD CRUMBS
1 EGG
1 CUP CANNED TOMATO SAUCE- DIVIDED (1/4 & 3/4)
1 TSP SALT
1/8 TSP PEPPER
1/8 TSP GROUND ALLSPICE
1 ONION - CHOPPED
2 TB OIL
3 CUPS WATER
1 PACKAGE ONION SOUP MIX
1 1/2 CUPS CARROTS - SLICED
10 OZ. FROZEN PACKAGE PEAS
1/2 CUP GREEN PEPPER - CHOPPED
3 POTATOES - CUBED
COMBINE IN A BOWL; MEAT, CRUMBS, EGG,
1/4 CUP TOMATO SAUCE, SALT, PEPPER, ALLSPICE AND ONION.
MIX WELL AND FORM INTO 12 BALLS.
IN A SKILLET HEAT OIL AND ADD MEATBALLS. BROWN ON ALL SIDES AND DRAIN.
IN LARGE POT ADD MEATBALLS, WATER, 3/4 CUP TOMATO SAUCE, ONION SOUP MIX, CARROTS, PEAS, GREEN PEPPER, POTATOES. BRING TO A BOIL AND COOK OVER LOW HEAT FOR 30 MINUTES OR UNTIL VEGETABLES ARE TENDER.

Lentil Soup with Ham
INGREDIENTS:
* 1 meaty ham bone or 1 large ham hock
* 6 cups water
* 1 1/2 cups dried lentils
* 2 cups sliced carrots, about 3 to 4 medium carrots
* 1 cup chopped celery
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 2 teaspoons salt
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 1 bay leaf
PREPARATION:
In a stock pot or large kettle, combine ham bone, water, lentils, carrots, celery, onion, salt, sugar, pepper and bay leaf. Cover and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, or until lentils are tender.
Take out ham bone or hock and remove meat.
Chop meat and return to lentil soup. Remove bay leaf. Lentil soup serves 6.
I add a little tomato and a couple of small potatoes. Chicken Noodle Soup
2lbs.cook Chicken (fresh or raw)
2 1/2 cups of water
1cup Celery
3 cup wide noodles
salt
pepper
chicken broth
Boil chicken in water until fully cook ,remove from water set aside this is your broth ,cool chicken and cut in small pieces ,dice celery and place meat ,celery ,pinch of salt and pepper to taste when celery is tender place noodles in broth and bring to a slow boil cook 15 to 20 minutes .6 - 8 cup serving .
