My family loves to get together for Sunday dinners and I LOVE to cook and this week they requested "Stuffed Peppers." Does anyone have any particular recipe they like? I could look it up but I find personal is best! Thanks!

Answers:
all of these recipes sound great but i stick to my traditional way.... *4-5 large peppers
*ur fave spag sauce
*2lbs grd beef
*diced onion
*grated cheedar cheese
*1 1/2 cups instant rice

brown meat, along with onions,add spices(seasoned salt, garlic salt),drain...
Mix spaghetti sauce into meat,warm...
Cut tops off peppers, cut in two halves,remove seeds..
Cook rice, and add to meat mixture...
In a rectangular casserole dish (or any shape thats
big enough)...
Spoon mixture onto each half by large spoonfuls
top with cheese, i use lots of cheese!!!
also delicious topped with ketchup before serving
ENJOY!!

Sounds good...have to check back...cause I could use one too

i like stuffed hot peppers..the way my granma makes them is by cutting the top off of them...stuffing them with mozzerella cheese and putting them in an 8x8 dish...then you pour homemade spaghetti sauce over them...bake at 350 for about 45 min...cover with tin foil...oh my god..they are delicious...you should definitly try 6 peppers
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, finely chopped
1tsp olive oil
1 cup couscous
2 tbsp raisins
2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
1 egg yolk
salt and ground black pepper
mint leaves, to garnish
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Carefully slit each pepper and remove the core and seeds. Set the peppers aside. Melt the butter in a small pan, add the onion and cook until soft.

To cook the couscous, bring 1 cup water to the boil. Add the oil and ? tsp salt, then remove the pan from the heat and add the couscous. Stir and set aside to stand, covered, for 5 minutes. Stir in the cooked onion, raisins and mint, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in the egg yolk.

Using a teaspoon, fill the peppers with the couscous mixture to only about three-quarters full, as the couscous will swell when cooked further. Place in a lightly oiled ovenproof dish and bake in the oven, uncovered, for about 20 minutes until tender but not collapsing. Serving hot or cold, garnished with the mint leaves.

Go to the food network site. * large bell peppers, approx 6
* 4 tablespoons butter
* 1 cup chopped onion, or reinhydrated dehydrated onion
* 2 celery ribs, finely chopped (not a necessity, largely for show)
* 2 large cloves garlic, fnely minced (approx 1 tbs of garlic powder can be added)
* 2 pounds lean ground beef,(turkey or tofu can be substanted)
* 3 cups soft bread crumbs, italian tastes best
* 3 eggs, slightly beaten
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 small teaspon black pepper
* 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce,
* 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Clean the bell peppers; set them aside. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium low heat. Add the onions, celery, parsley, and garlic. Add the ground beef and saute together until the beef is completely cooked and the vegetables are lightly browned. Add the bread crumbs and season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Work the eggs into the stuffing. If more moisture is needed, add a little milk or broth to the stuffing mixture. Spoon the stuffing into the prepared bell peppers and place them in a shallow baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for about 30 minutes or until the bell peppers are tender. Spoon tomato sauce over each stuffed pepper and sprinkle with shredded cheese; bake 8 to 10 minutes longer, watch your stove cause it may cook longer or quicker. Mines alittle funny.

Cut the tops off the peppers of your choice. Scrape out some of the inside if you wish.
Fill with rice, cheese,mushrooms, onions, a little margrine or butter (can also use sauces if you would prefer), meat of your choice.
Stuffed peppers ae very versatile you can fill them with just about anything.
place tops back on the top wrap in tinfoil and cook in oven at 350 until tender. Stuffed Peppers

INGREDIENTS:

* 1 pound ground beef
* 1/2 cup uncooked long grain white rice
* 1 cup water
* 6 green bell peppers
* 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
* 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
* 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
* salt and pepper to taste
* 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Place the rice and water in a saucepan, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and cook 20 minutes. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the beef until evenly browned.
3. Remove and discard the tops, seeds, and membranes of the bell peppers. Arrange peppers in a baking dish with the hollowed sides facing upward. (Slice the bottoms of the peppers if necessary so that they will stand upright.)
4. In a bowl, mix the browned beef, cooked rice, 1 can tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Spoon an equal amount of the mixture into each hollowed pepper. Mix the remaining tomato sauce and Italian seasoning in a bowl, and pour over the stuffed peppers.
5. Bake 1 hour in the preheated oven, basting with sauce every 15 minutes, until the peppers are tender. I love stuffed peppers. First cook basic white rice. (water, lil bit of salt, lil bit of oil). Cook the ground beef, adovo, lil bit of garlic, pepper (if you go to to supermarket you can look in the hispanic seasonings). When everything is done. Mix the beef with the rice. the scoop them into the cleaned peppers. Also, get your favorite pasta sauce (prego, ragu) and pour half into a pan put the stuffed pepper on the sauce. With the rest of the sauce spread over the peppers. Bake them for 30 minutes.
