Answers:
EmerilWare isn't real expensive, and you can find it on sale a lot. Mother's Day is a good time to shop for such as that!

Other Answers:
walmart

www.foodnetwork.com Anything from a yard sale. If you're a beginner cook you don't need anything fancy. You can find some good stuff at yard sales.

try target and if they don't have anything you like then wal*mart --

You can buy a "nice" set of pans from Target that is pretty inexpensive. I would not get the sets at Walmart, they are paper thin and not of good quality.

Plastic One Try a local Dollar General or Family Dollar or if ya wanna go real cheap hit the Salvation army or yard sales.

IKEA has a coupla good starter boxes I think.

You probably won't need an entire set in college. Make sure to get a decent pot and frying pan to start with.
Don't forget a large pot for pasta/potatoes, and a strainer. If you have teflon-coated pots and pans, be sure to get the nylon spatula, spoon, etc (usually sold in sets very cheaply) so you don't scratch your cookware.
You might want some Corning casserole dishes (they go from oven to table to fridge/freezer, and are microwave safe.

Happy cooking! microwave and 2-3 minute meals work and bowls for cereal and money to eat on the go!
