Answers: well I know eating Non - veg is a SIN . well apart from non-veg which meal can i take on Good Friday
Vatican law states that you aren't to eat the flesh of a warm blooded animal; but you are welcome to eat indirect meats such as dairy products, eggs, and fats, as well as meat of a cold-blooded animal, like fish and reptiles. We give up these certain foods to give thanks to Jesus for the amazing gift that he has given to us. If you feel like you want to give up more, you are welcome to do so. You can follow the minimal of Vatican law, or you can add or own sacrifices to give thanks to Christ in your own special way. Analyze your heart, and decide what works best for YOUR beliefs.
Vatican law states that on Ash Wednesday and good Friday, we as Catholics are to both abstain from meat as well as fast - eat very little food on that day. On each Friday of Lent inbetween those dates, we are advised to abstain from meat, but are not obligated to fast.
Bun and cheese...
** scrambled eggs
soup
fries
and plenty of booze
fish chips and mushy peas
cheeses and eggs are ok
Eat a ton of red meat and nothing else. Just kidding...
Fish, baked potato and salad
Just fast. One day with out food will not kill you.
Actually eating meat on Good Friday is not a sin...There isn't anything in the Bible that says you can't eat meat on Good Friday.
Simple, anything but meat.
Hot Cross Buns are traditionally eaten on Good Friday, with the cross standing as a symbol of the crucifixion.
Also because they are yummy :P
Seafood The SURF W/O The Turf! I'll take mine with rice pilaf, thankyou! Balsamic on the salad. Yummalicious!
On Good Friday, one eats only one full meal, but may eat two smaller meals as necessary to keep up one's strength. The two small meals together must sum to less than the one full meal. And, you cannot eat meat or poultry.
fish
veggie pizza
Any fish ...no bread
