Cinnamon and bread Duuuhhhhhh!!
Cinnamon cinnamon and more cinnamon. LOLa cinnamon stick is just that,a peel of bark from a cinnamon tree,, so main ingredient is cinnamon bark.. "oil of" the raw plant material from which it was extracted is its flavor in cassia bark
if you mean cinnamon sticks like natural cinnamon sticks, then just what everyone else has said, cinnamon. But if you mean the kind you bake, then cinnamon, flour, water, probably eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla extract. im totally guessing but those are things that would probably be in them.
cinnamon sticks are the rolled-up bark that has been scraped from a tree.bark cinnamon is made up of bark ground bark.
P.S. It tastes made good in iced tea.
Tree bark Rules
true cinnamon-(the kind you see at christmas that look like a branch) comes from the ceylon tree which is grown mostly in sri lanka, eypt, vietnam and the west indies. The sticks are actually peelings of bark from the cassia tree-they scrap the desired depth and cut to lenght and left to dry-this causes the edges to curl. The other type of cinnamom stick comes from the cassia tree which grows in southeast asia and the indies it is also the bark-but less flavorful and is usually referred to by "bastard cinnamon" The ceylon tree is the best and you can tell the difference by the bark. You can use it just like ground cinnamon only in this form the oils(which give it's true flavor) stay intact and the cinnamon will still have that pungent aroma-you can either grate it-smash into chunks or grrind just bits using a food processor-plus it's cheaper in the long run-dry spices only have a 6 month life span before they have little to no flavor cinnamon
cinnamon.That's y it's called cinnamon sticks
