gravy, i had just got married the week before and i tried to make gravy for breakfast and it ended up being a big slimy ball ,we had dog out side and i had thrown it out for the dogs to eat and they would not eat it and dug a hole and buried it ,i was so ashamed,i cried.!!!...i learned how to make gravy the right way,... my grampa showed me how. ....

I was trying to make ham potatoes and greenbeans. I didn't look when I was making the stew and putting the ingredients in. So I'm stirring and all of a sudden I see this tiny pickle. Then another. When I was in high school I tried to make rice krispie treats for my friends sleepover. I guess I melted the mashmallows over too high of heat and burned the hell out of my mom's brand new "Visions" (all tempered glass) cookware. Scorched was about three inches of NASTY black, sticky marshmallows in her pot. I tried to clean it, but it was too baked on. Soaking didn't work. I threw out the pot. My mom was pissed when she found out. That was 22 years ago, and Ihave never made them again!!!!
PS mom made me use my allowance to pay for a new pot too.
