I'm always trying different things, trying to get that awesome "bold" flavorful steaks. Well, I think I came up with my favorite so far. I started marinating them last night, and cooked 'em for lunch! All I can say is c'est bon! Mmmm, Mmmm, G O O D! Dale's seasoning, which is a liquid marinade and Slap Ya Mama, which is a dry seasoning. Together...overnight....awesome!

Equal parts sugar and soy sauce (heat up and stir so sugar dissolves) Add three smashed cloves of garlic and three smashed scallions (white part only). (To smash scallions and garlic, place under the broad side of a chef's knife on a cutting board and press down carefully with your palm.) Marinate at least 30 minutes. Sprinkle with a little salt before cooking.
Skirt steak is great in this. Good grilled or broiled.
Hot Sauce and Molasses. Good foooood. =p
Different types of red wine,and herbs,also a1.
I try to avoid marinades. A good steak should speak for itself. Just kosher salt & coarse black pepper, olive oil, grill to mid-rare and serve with demi-glace. You can pour A1 or Dale's all over something and talk about a great steak but how would you really know with all that seasoning overpowering the meat.
I like to put Werchester sauce with a balsamic vinegarette, and some minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, Famous Dave's steak and burger rub.
SO GOOD. Honestly, it really is the best.
I never use anything but McCormick's seasoning rub(.the dry kind) and Worcestershire sauce..30 minutes to an hour before cooking.Steaks are always tender and juicy.
cant go wrong with some good red wine
teriaki sauce in a zip lock bag overnight
chicken too....
soy sauce and onions
Dale's is definitely good. But for some reason, my fiancee always marinates his steaks in Italian dressing. Im defintely a salt and pepper only girl, but his always come out delicious.
