Sure, lots of times. Just pull the feathers out with the grain, so you don't rip the skin. (Grab a few, and pull in the direction they're growing.)Don't do it! I have, and it's horrible! You'll never eat chicken again. I never did but my mom and some of my sisters have. It'll be smelly.

Dood, no....I make my husband clean the fish too. In high school biology class, I had a nice boy cut up my stinkin' frog. I don't think I will ever be a'pluckin' feathers from any chickens, though my Granny used to swing them around her head to break their necks. (relax, Chicken Boy!)
