my child is in the x and is always on the run - school, extra classes, coaching as a result her energy levels are dipping.i serve pretty balanced meals but would like some help with tiffin/travelling time snacks that i can pack. something nutritious and energy giving (other than fruits and chocolates) which she can eat easily without messing up her hands

Answers:
Healthy snacks should include protein as well as sugar. Try nuts, cheese, whole grain crackers, seeds. There are mitures of trail mix that have dried fruits, nuts and seeds. Include bottled water with the snack.Baby carrots ,celery sticks, other raw vegetables are good also.
