Answers:
This is a recipe I made up a while back for tuna fish cakes. It's quick and easy to make and my family can't get enough of them!

2 cans tuna
tablespoon cornstarch
medium egg
one scallion/spring onion chopped finely
handful of frozen veg incl sweetcorn, peas and finely chopped carrot
cracked black pepper
oregano

1.mix all the ingredients together in a bowl until it forms a paste.
2.shape into patties/burgers and squeeze dry so that it's only a little moist
3.heat 1-2tablespoons oil in a frying pain and cook for approx 5mins on each side on medium heat so that it's crisp on the outside.

www.foodnetwork.com Sounds like you mean canned tuna.... I just squeeze mine dry and mix in a little S&P, mayo, and sweet picklet relish (w/ a little pickle juice). Spread on a sandwich or eat on crackers, or stuff into a wedged tomato.

I don't care for hot canned tuna, so I don't have any recipes for you there.

1-Creamy tuna toast

This small and easy to make appetizer can be served at any time.

Ingredients 2 cans Tuna Fish
3 pieces Cream Cheese
1/3 cup Olive Oil
2 Garlic Cloves ,crushed
2 tsp Dill ,fresh and finely chopped
1 Red Onion ,small size, sliced
Dill ,for decoration
10 slices Toast

Directions
In a small plastic bowl, combine oil and garlic.
Using a coffee cup cut toast into small circles. Brush toast pieces with the oil and garlic mixture on both sides. Place toast into oven and toast for 10 minutes until both sides turn golden.
In a bowl, use a fork to flake tuna then add cheese and dill and stir to mix ingredients.
Arrange toast in a serving platter with ? tbsp of tuna mix on each piece then decorate with onion and dill.

2-Hot tuna pasta salad

This is a different salad recipe. Tuna and pasta are known to be good together but the original thing about this recipe is that it is served hot.

Ingredients 2 cans Tuna Fish ,chunks
2 Carrots
1 pack Shells Pasta ,(500g)
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1/3 cup Lemon Juice
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Basil ,dried and crushed
Salt and Pepper




Directions
Boil carrots until just tender. Drain and slice them. Drain tuna and mash flesh with a fork. Put carrots and tuna in a large serving bowl.
Boil pasta and drain. Add to serving bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, sugar, basil, salt and pepper. Add to pasta and tuna in bowl. Serve hot.

3- Mexican tuna salad

The red beans and sweet corn add a remarkable taste to the tuna not to mention the high nutrition value.

Ingredients 3 cans Tuna Fish
1 can Sweet Corn
1 can Red Beans

Directions
In a bowl, drain tuna and mash with a fork. Drain red beans and sweet corn then add to tuna.
Cut red, yellow, green pepper into long thin strips and add to bowl.
Add lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper and stir until ingredients are well mixed.

4- Tuna paste

This is one of the most delicious appetizers. It can be used as a spread for toasts or on toasted Shamy bread.

Ingredients 2 cans Tuna Fish
2 cubes Cream Cheese
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
4 tsp Mustard
4 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Vinegar ,optional
1 Spring Onion
1/2 Green Chili Pepper ,optional
Salt and Pepper

Directions
Slice spring onion (green and white parts) and cut large slices into halves or quarters. Cut chili pepper into very small pieces.
In a small bowl, mash cream cheese. Add mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice and vinegar. Stir to mix all ingredients well.
Drain tuna from oil and put flesh in a serving bowl. Add cheese mixture, onion, chili pepper, salt and pepper.
With a fork, mash tuna with other ingredients to make tuna into paste and mix well with ingredients. Cover and refrigerate until serving.

5- Tuna peppercorn puff

You can serve this delicious and easy to cook appetizer beside a fresh salad to make an excellent summer dinner.

Time of cooking 20 Minutes

Ingredients 2 cans Tuna Fish
30 g Butter
3 Green Onions ,chopped
2 tbsp Dill ,fresh, finely chopped
2 tbsp Flour
3/4 cup Milk
3 Egg ,(s) hardboiled, sliced
6 sheets Puff Pastry ,(12cm)
1 Egg ,lightly beaten
Salt and Pepper
1 tsp Green Peppercorns ,crushed

Directions
Drain tuna while setting aside ? cup of liquid.
In a medium saucepan, heat and stir butter, onion and peppercorn for 2 minutes or until onion is soft then add flour and cook for another minute. Remove from heat and cool slightly for 2 minutes.
Add liquid and milk to mixture and stir well. Return to heat and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat and leave to cool. Then add tuna and mix well then season with salt and pepper.
Brush oven tray with oil and place 3 sheets on it. Top each one with an egg slice and leaving 0.5cm border, add 1/3 tbsp tuna mixture. Cover with remaining sheets and press edges together to close. Using a fork decorate puffs as desired and brush with beaten egg.
Place tray into oven and bake for 15-20 minutes over medium heat until golden brown.

6-Tuna and pasta salad (diet)

Ingredients 1 cup Pasta ,cooked
1 can Tuna Fish , diet
1 Carrot ,medium size shredded
1 Green Onion ,thinly sliced
1/2 Green Pepper , cut into small sticks
1 tsp Mustard Powder
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Salt and Pepper

Directions In large plate mix pasta with tuna, carrots, onion and peppers. Season with mustard, lemon, salt and pepper

tuna sandwiches.. Add in what u like eg: cucumber, lettuce tomatoes,onions (or chopped and mix with tuna), mayonise. Tuna on crackers.. Tuna fried rice.. quick and easy. =) Here is a recipe I made up. I have it posted on www.recipezaar.com which is a good place to get recipes :)

Tuna Waldorf Salad

Use this filling for sandwiches or to make tuna puffs. Fancy enough for company and special occasions. Easy enough for everyday. Canned chicken also works well in this recipe also.

5 minutes 5 mins prep
1 red delicious apple, peeled and finely chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cans tuna, drained (I use albacore)
1/3 cup finely chopped celery
1/3 cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup mayonnaise

Sprinkle Lemon juice over apples right after chopping.
Mix together rest of ingredients.
Use more mayonaise if you want a creamier filling.
Use as a filling for sandwiches or puffs.
Note: For sandwiches I like to use the courser grained breads.
For puffs use shells as for cream puffs.
Serve either at room temperature or chilled.

TUNA SALAD
4 Servings

Ingredients:
One 6-ounce can water-packed tuna, drained, or 1 cup left over grilled, poached, or sautéed tuna
? cup diced celery or diced, seeded, and peeled cucumber
? cup mayonnaise, or to taste
1 tablespoon drained capers (optional)
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley (optional)
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Methods:
1. Flake tuna into a medium bowl.

2. Add celery (or cucumber), mayonnaise, capers, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

3. Refrigerate until cold.
