Raw chicken should not be left at room temperature more than 2 hours. But, I forgot to put one away once and if it doesn't feel slimy or stink you could wash it and cook it to a temperature of 180 degrees internal to kill all the bacteria.

Just nuke it. Technically you shouldn't leave it sitting out, but with the AC on maybe a little bit better --- I know us college kids do it a lot, haha. But if you microwave it till it's hot, it should be okay.
If I was you, I wouldn't risk it. You would be risking all sorts of potentially nasty tummy bugs.
I think I remember reading somewhere that the cut off time for chicken being kept at room temperature is 2 - 3 hours. It all depends on what you call room temprature?
