Answers:
My mom once told me that when an egg is done it will spin rapidly when you put it on a level surface. I tried it and it is really true!!!! Now go spin an unboiled egg and see how slowly it spins. (by the way spin it horizontally not vertically)
Other Answers:
30 min or so
I do mine for 12 minutes
5 minutes AFTER the water starts to boil.
after 3 min of boiling
put a lid of the pan and turn off the stove
let it sit for about 20 min
i would say that it depends on the heat. but i do mine for about 5-7 minz
set the temp of the stove to high... n let the water boil then drop the egg in n let it set for 15 min... thats it
10 min on a gas stove, 15 min on a regular coiled stove. (both must be on high.)
Everyone has thier own way of doing this. I boil it for around 15 minutes, but then I turn off the stove and leave it. I let the egg remain in the water until it is completely cool. I always get perfect boiled eggs that are easy to peel.
10 min after the water starts boiling.
i do mine for about 20 min after it starts to boil
i always boil for 10 minutes for a hard boiled egg.
if you go to a kitchen supply store such as bed, bath and beyond you can buy an egg timer... it tells you the exact time for hard, soft yolk, etc
five minutes for hard boil, if they boil longer than the yoke isn't bright yellow, it starts turning green. three minutes for soft boil. also, just a hint, run them in cold water after to peel the shell easier.
Put the eggs in COLD water(about 1-2 inches above the height of the eggs). Bring the water to a boil. Then put a lid on and pull the pot off of the burner. Let it sit for 18 minutes. Then take the eggs out-a slotted spoon works best-and put the eggs in COLD water. When they have cooled, enjoy!

i do mine for about 20 min. there GOOD
3 min
A hard boiled egg is called a ten-minute egg. Put it in the water, bring it to a boil, turn the heat down to medium-high and gently boil it for ten minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water twice. Peel immediately. The yolk will not be gray on the outside. If you must wait to peel until later, leave the egg in the rinse water. Just before peeling, re-rinse in hot water. This will help it peel easier. Also, very fresh eggs tend not to peel as easily as eggs that are not so fresh.
10 min
I would boil an egg for at least 3 Min's after the water has boiled. Leave the egg in the water after you turn the stove off to make sure the egg is definitely hard boiled.
place eggs in pot of cold water.
cook for 7 minutes after water begins to boil, remove from heat and shock (fast chill--use a bowl of ice water) shouldn't have that nasty green ring around the yolk that comes from overcooking

5 minutes after the water starts to boil should be just right these are best with fresh crusty bread like a bloomer or a batch cut to your desired thickness and toasted
