Answers:
Candy molds -- melted white or milk chocolate in molds with a lollipop stick stuck onto them! Individually wrap with a piece of curly ribbon!

Other Answers:
Anything sweet like cookies, donuts, cakes sells best. you can try foreign junk food too.
Chocolate covered pretzels! And decorate them with sprikles. The pretzel rods worked best for me. I dipped half of the rod and decorated it! I sold them 5 for $0.50
Instead of the usual cupcakes and brownies, why don't you try fresh breads (banana nut, etc)? Or you could choose different ethnic delicacies, such as baklava, creme puffs, fruit tarts, etc.
Cupcakes. Everyone loves cupcakes! You can also fancy it up and make carrot cake cupcakes, red velvet.. anything that is cake. I make them regularly and they are gone fast! For a whole bunch of great ideas check out these scrumptious cupcakes. http://www.crumbsbakeshop.com/productlist.php?catid=1
Cupcakes are always popular - try this twist... After the cupcakes have been baked, fill a pastry bag with icing, poke the bag into the cupcake and squirt a little icing inside the cupcake before you frost the top.

If you'd like to try baking something healthier, the recipe for bran muffins on the side of All-Bran cereal boxes is EXCELLENT. To make it even better, add some honey to the batter before you bake - a couple tablespoons to about a quarter cup, depending on your taste. They taste REALLY good.

A really easy candy recipe can be found on the side of Marshmellow Creme jars - the recipe is called Fantasy Fudge. I made it one year for co-workers for Christmas, and it's become a HUGE hit. People have started requesting it for everything. Did I mention that it's easy? Really really easy? If you'd like to dress up the fudge a bit, you could get a mini-muffin pan to let the fudge cool in - that'll make the candy uniform anyway, which might be nice for a bake sale. Then get out your pastry bag, whip up some icing, and put a little heart, balloon, or other simple shape on there for some extra decoration (and sugar!).
growing up my grandmother made whoopie pies....I have a couple of sites below where you can get the receipes. These are what I make for my daughters school bake sales and for my husband coworkers at Christmas. They are sellers at $1.00 each.
Just read the second site and might try something other than chocolate next time.....yummmmmm
