what does she love? mine loves music so I would do a cake that looks like a record and write happy happy birthday (name) recorded by Greenday (that's her favorite band). or a tv (square cake pan) decorated like a tv and write in it (news flash....it's (name) Birthday!!!

What is she into? sports or music? a certian group or tv show? follow her clues you could do basketball or tennis court, a cell phone, a beach scene take a few flat cakes and cut out the shapes you need maybe a guitar. check wilton site or take a paper and trace the shape out and cut the cake to shape get creative and enjoy
well first you have to tell us the theme
Walmart makes awsome cakes that are made out out of a bunch of cupcakes...or you could do an ice cream cake.....
Bake a 9x13 sheet cake. Frost it with vanilla frosting. Mix a bag of coconut with green food coloring, sprinkle on top of frosting for grass. Look through your daughters toys for small figurines (boy, girl, dog, cat, etc.). You can also color a little of the frosting blue and before you put the grass down make a small pond out of the blue frosting. If you can find a little bridge in your daughters toys you can make a river. Have the boy and girl and animals sitting close to the pond or river. If you can find maybe some clowns you can make it more festive. Just go through her toys and see what you can find. One time my daughter had some mini glass horses. I bought some colored straws and made the poles for a carousel. Just tape them to the horses. To connect them all together, I put one long straw in the center and ran colored ribbon to each horse. It was beautiful.
