you can lower both of them to lose weight
but lose the wrong carbs
eat several small meal a day ..take your regular three meals and make them just a little bit smaller..
now cut each meal i half..eat breakfast and then eat between breakfast and lunch..eat lunch then eat between lunch and dinner, eat dinner then eat the last meal between dinner and the time you go to bed....no snacks...
junk food carbs, soda ( pop )
eat good carbs..salads, certain fruits and veggies..go tot eh library and get a book called SUGAR BUSTERS
they get into the proper carbs to eat and stay healthy..
staying healthy is a life choice not just a quick diet..

good way to loose weight quick but deprives you of serious nutrition
dont exceed 1 month on that diet
no variety and no taste!
carb is only one form of energy(calorie) so low calorie should be a better option
