Have The Whole House Cleaned.
Baking soda AND Lemon juice works best. Or you can simply mix some baking soda into the pan or dish with some detergent and scrub it well.
burn a Lemon Yankee Candle in the kitchen to get rid of smells... or put out a bowl of white vinegar
Try opening the windows when you go out for a while, the smell should clear itself out.

U can clean the whole house, use lemons, baking soda, etc.

you know what, this might not help you in the present, but it could help you in the future. I use to keep alot of glade plugins in my house, it kept the place smelling fresh even while I was cooking. I had my uncle over for dinner and he said to me "how does your place smell so nice even when you are cooking a meal" Glade plugins, work wonders. The origionals I find better than the scented oils and fancy ones to be quite honest.
