my dad is a diabetic and i dont know how to make anything using splenda because ive been told it bakes and sets up differently, but i need to know how to do just that - bake rice crispies with splenda, also if anyone has some good splenda recipies for puppy chow ( dads fave) or the no bake cookie called haystacks id be really thankful

Answers:
Look, you'll love me for this... I found it for you. Good luck, you are so sweet to bake for your dad. Splenda is an awesome alternative to sugar. Buy the "Splenda for baking". I believe you substitute it for whatever amount of sugar the recipe calls for. I love "puppy chow" and "haystacks".
Happy baking! If this link doesn't work just go to www.splenda.com and click on recipes.

Y DONT U JUST BLEND IT IN WITH THE TREATS OR JUST FIND A RECIPE ON THE INTERNET OR ASK UR MOM

Go to www.splenda.com, lots of recipes using "Splenda".
Couldn't find "Rice Crispy treats"( you use marshmallows not sugar), but check the website. Good Luck :) you won't be able to make rice krispy treats for him because marshmallows are the main ingredient and they are made of pure sugar. No such luck there! But definitely use the splenda for baking, I usually adjust my baking time and temp, lowering each by 5 minutes/5 degrees.
