Shortbread Cookies
1 c butter
2 c Sugar
3 c Flour
1 egg Yolk
Cream together butter & sugar
Add Flour slowly to mixture
Mix in egg
put in pan and score pieces to desired size or, you can shape them how you want them. Cook them flat, they will rise a bit, not much.
Can also be used for pie dough
cook in oven 350 degrees, about 10- 12 minutes or until light brown

1 package(4ozs)of chocolate whatever you prefer german,semi sweet or white chocolate.Melt it in the microwave on high for about 2mins. on high.Then what you would like prezels,fruit dip that into the chocolate etc. and enjoy!I know you said cookies but, this is as easy as i could think of.

This is not my favorite cookie recipe, but it's a really good one in a pinch with things I have on hand on a normal basis:
1 box of store bought chocolate cake mix
2 cups of sour cream
1 cup chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together until just incorpotated. Spoon large dollops of mix onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 11-15 minutes, depending on your oven.
The result is a soft, cake like and dense cookie.
They are really good!
