Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(what is the name of the best food recipe book?),it will help you,my kids.
Answers:
I couldn't live without the Joy of Cooking, the updated version. It has everything from the basics (sugar cookies and hot chocolate) to the more exotic ethnic dishes.
Other Answers:
'Roast Chicken and Other Stories' by Simon Hopkinson with Lindsey Bareham
Recently won competition to find most useful recipe book ever written.
The most useless cookbook was voted the Larousse Gastronomique for being "overrated, esoteric and stuffy" as well as being "heavily biased towards all things French."
Depends on your personal tastes. Best could be individual culture foods (Chinese, Thai, etc.), or geographic area (Southern Living, etc.).
Without question, it's "Better Homes." You know the old red and white checkered one. I would have starved to death without it on my own.

I suppose that would be a matter of opinion. There are some classics that you need to have like the betty crocker cookbook, The New Cook book, better homes and gardens.
Better Homes was always my favorite. It has recipes that you can really use everyday. Not like some that have all those fancy dishes in them that look great, but you never actually make.
nanny ogg's cookbook.
