why dont eat meat, and constantly telling people that killing animals and eating them is bad?
my opinion is that if a lion can eat anything he wants we can too, since we are basicly the ruler of the earth.. why dont you just go and tell the lion not to eat meat and see how much he is going to comprehend... Im not saying just to go and kill every animal for their sake but people "gots" to eat..

We have a choice on if we eat meat or not we are omnivorous (meat and plants) The lion doesn't because of evolution, they are a carnivore (meat only).
Some people just don't like the thought of being responsible for the death of an animal so they can eat. Some religions also dictate that you don't eat meat.
Others don't like the conditions food animals are kept in so choose not to eat meat. We don't have room for chickens, cows and pigs in most homes so farming our own meat isn't really possible.

Animals is a TOTALLY different story. They have to eat other animals to survive. WE don't. There are other sources of protein besides meat.
because that is total nature. humans have the restraint to not kill, but they choose not to use it. they have guns and all that, and homes and other means of food. and the lions and other animals out there that eat meat are doing it to live. we can live without meat. people just dont want to try because, "omg, bacon is too good!" lions need meat to live. i know some humans do too, because of the vitamins, but god, take the vitamins then! its absurd to think that people BELIEVE they NEED meat. i do not eat meat for health reasns only.keeping my uric acid in shape
Lions are carnivores. They need meat to survive. Humans are omnivores - we do not require meat to survive.
It has nothing to do with being the strongest or being the king of the jungle. We kill animals purely for pleasure. That is unethical.
You quote the bible, so why do you think it's ok to kill his creatures for fun? Why do you think it's ok to allow them to be tortured so that we can have 15 minutes of pleasure?

To the very aptly named Miss Guided, and acceptance also, since when has omnivore meant 'does not need meat'. If so, then do you think it is justifiable for a bear or a badger to eat meat or not, as they are both omnivores? Until the last century, it would have been almost impossible for people to get a wide enough range of fruit and veg to replace the nutrients they would have been missing from meat. Even now, when access to a wide range of fruit and veg is easy, there are still some benefits to eating meat.
To my mind, eating meat is natural, and therefore justifiable. I realise other people have different points of view.
i wuld b yellin at you rite now but i wont since u said sorry. u have it all wrong. you shouldnt kill animals because then u r killin families that have to provide for others. yes, u do have to eat but u can eat other things then animals and fish count as animals. i have a question to answer your question. how would you feel if your dad or mom or sister or brother was shot right in front of you very eyes and then taken away and you knew he/she was going to be eaten? or even if you knew you were next? or when you were a baby both of your parents got shot so you died? think about it all. thats what your doin to all animals. plus, your jesus argument does not work because not everyone is christian and that should not be part of the argument. because of the human race, almost every animal is endangered and hundreds of them are extenct. just so you can eat them. just so you can kill them. what you dont understand is that by killing one animal, you are killing a family. by killling one species, you distroy the natrual banlance of the food web. so much bad comes from all this. dont you understand? you are a horrible person to ask this question!
