I'd like to get started on a vegetarian diet, but I don't know what's best to eat and what should be avoided. All I really know is, don't eat meat for it to be a vegetarian diet. Any other advice would be appreciated!

I don't know about a Vegetarian diet, but www.allrecipies.com has a bunch of vegetarian recipies. That's a good start!

Suggest you go to your local book store, and browse through Veggie books. They'll have great ideas for menus, pictures to keep you interested, and lots and lots of facts about veggie lifestyle. I think there's a veggie book for dummies, too. You might want to check Amazon for that...

Best of luck!!!

stop being a damn hippie and eat some meat! found one for you

Try looking into Living and Raw foods as well. There are major health benefits to not destroying your food with heat. I can testify to the power of raw food. It is awsome. I think the web site I first visited was living-foods.com. Have fun with your new, vibrant, healthy, happy and long life! Hi there
Ediets has a vegetarian diet option. (www.ediets.com)

I am a vegetarian too but I use weightwatchers. They have some decent veggie recipes there and even if u dont find much, the veggie forum there is great. I am sure they will offer u tips and suggestions...and they are very supportive too.

:) Good luck with your diet. No idea here but I'll cook ya a fat juicy Fillet Mignon.
