Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Are any of you discreet about being Vegan?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Are any of you discreet about being Vegan?),it will help you,my kids.
My husband & I try to be as discreet as possible because we don't want to cause issues w/ other family members. We are vegan for health reasons alone.
Answer:
I can't afford being "discreet" about my choice, because I would be served meat or dairy in no time. If you're a vegan for only health reasons, maybe it won't matter to you as much if you get an occasional piece of meat or cheese in your meal, but for an ethical vegan this can really hurt feelings.
It's almost like asking ppl with alergies if they are discreet about it. They better not be for their own sake.
And another thing, I'm proud of my choice. I dont mind letting ppl know it is possible to be a vegan, happy and healthy. Why would I want to hide that? If I cause "issues" I can handle them pretty well. But ppl around me, my nearest friends and family have accepted it by now.
It is good that you are a vegan, though, even for your health.
Im descreet about my veggieness. You make me sick by the way. Dont care about the animals, just yourselves? Huh. Losers.
I'm so discreet that I hide the fact by eating steaks so noone knows
My proudness shine through-about being a vegan:D
I am a vegan because I love animals and respect ther right not to be eaten by man. I think animal rights is an important issue and not one to be discreet about.
Half of my family is vegetarian and a lot of people at my university are vegetarian or vegan so I've never really had a reason to try and hide it.
Its hard to be discreet with those long, pointy ears.
(Dr. Spock was Vegan, wasn't he?)
WARNING Above you find the Phoney Vegan Concscript you can differentiate between The Real VC and the Phoney VC by his lack of Points..The Real VC's Points are much higher
I am discreet about my behavior, tone of voice, and the perception I give off, but I donot by any means try to hide
my veganism. I wear animal rights tee-shirts, have pro-vegan
bumper stickers on my car and if someone asks I'll them I'm
vegan. I don't shout it on the roof tops but I feel no need to stay in the closet. If people don't know there is a vegan around they may never become exposed to the concept. Veganism is entirely misunderstood. Who will educate the public if we donot stand up and be counted?
