Seems fancy. I don't mind it at all. But what is it made of?

Answer:
Some foods have a higher acidity level and it can corrode the inside of the can. The white coating is a mild form of teflon that helps seal the interior so that the oils and acids from the foods don't react with the metal can.
some foods have acid that eat the metal or rust it and the metal will make it taste bad, like if you open up orange juice in a can and leave it in there it will have a metal taste.
All cans have a protective film inside. The colouring is a choice that the can manufacturer offers to their customers. Some films are coloured and others are clear. They all do the same thing.
most cans do have a coating it is to protect the food from the metal cans. The colour of the coating is a manufacturers decision. Some imported cheap foods don't have this coating on the cans.. so that food has to be eaten quickly or put in a better container so it doesn't spoil! I got canned pineapple in a can without the coating and it was gone bad in 3 days! I had to throw out the pineapple that spoiled!
Watch out if You import cans of food from places like Malasyia! If it's too cheap probably doesn't have that protect interior coating!
