Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Carnivores vs. vegatarians?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Carnivores vs. vegatarians?),it will help you,my kids.

I don't mean to offend meat eaters or anything, but why do they get so offended by us and say rude things.
I always hear meat eaters saying that we ( vegatarians and vegans) aren't sane or we are weak.
When this is entirely untrue.
we get great sources of protein from plants so they can't hold that against us and we eat a diet entirely based on veggie and fruits.( being a vegatarian or vegan is not all about not eating meat, its also about eating lots of vegatables) We are very healthy( if we really follow our diet) but what my question really is ,is why do meat eaters get so offended and say rude things about us?
(I am not trying to offend anyone)

Answer:
I think the problem is that some of them see that being a vegetarian is "unecessary" or stupid. My classmates upon finding out that I was vegetarian said "vegetables are living things too, you are killing them!" and others say "the animal has already been killed, so why not eat them?".

I think the health benefits for being vegetarian is obvious, less saturated fat and cholesterol. It also prevents me from eating any burgers or fried foods containing meat at any fast food joints, e.g. KFC or McDonald's.
As a meat eater I have pondered on occasion whether I could make it as a vegetarian or vegan. I have decided that I am not strong enough and do not have the will power to cut out my beloved meat. I just wanted to let you know that there is a meat eater out here that thinks that vegetarians and vegans are not off there rocker for not eating meat. I think that you have more will power than I do.
Because subconsciously they feel bad for not liking vegetables.
Hey don't let it worry you. We are getting our recommended 5-8 servings of fruits and veggies everyday for good health. My children are vegetarians but people have always had an issue with it and secretly take them for hamburgers which they won't eat. My boys are healthy and so am I. People like to talk they love to give their opinions especially if they are different from yours. Be polite listen and go on with your choices. You will never get Mad Cow Disease or eat animals that are sick and have been filled with antibiotics and hormones. Its going to be a very happening issue when the movie Fast Food Nation is released.
I think we all just eat differently based on our beliefs and upbringing. We should have our own choices and respects the other person's eating lifestyle without attacking each other in anyway.
Mostly because NON meat eaters usually criticize OUR food choices!
If I want to eat animal flesh, the bible tells me it is ok. My TEETH are shaped as a carnivore's should be.
I don't call names to vegans and I expect them to respect MY chouices in turn.
So don't go all PETA on us....plants have been proven to have feelings, too, you know.

Oh, just for your info, I LOVE vegetables, and eat more than the recommended daily servings. But I also love a bige ole burger or a steak, or chicken sandwich, too.
I don't think there is anything wrong with vegetarians, but people have been eating meat for decades, and its not bad for u. But idk anyone that thinks vegetarians are bad.
because, i suppose, many if not most vegetarians are considered to have severe eating disorders. most do not eat properly at all. it is very difficult to get the proper balances of vitamins, minerals, and enzymes, on a strict vegetarian diet and most look pale and washed out, unhealthy. since diet is a choice, these people are considered lacking common sense.

take yourself as an example, you espouse vegetarianism yet cannot spell the word.
because they don't understand it. i eat meats, and not in small amounts and i can't imagine a life wi/o meat. I'm healthy and have a good weight. maybe it's a bit of addiction also for some meat eaters. they might think it's weird not to eat meat and think it's unhealthy... but i understand and respect an others opinion about that...
hey sorry to burst your bubble but i dont think anyone on this site is a total carnivore unless lions learned how to use computers we are omnivores which means we eat both meat and vegetables but besides that mistake your question isnt that bad compared to some of the other idiots in this section.

To your comment on mad cow disease did you hear people are getting sick from e coli in bagged spinach.
Eat what you want, but meat really does get an undeserved bad rap.

Everything in moderation.
I am a vegetarian but I certainly don't survive on vegetables and fruit. I eat many types of soy meats which taste better than real flesh without a doubt. I still make the same kinds of meals only use soy products. Bocca burgers with melted cheese and all the toppings of a real burger. Tacos only with soy taco meat, bologna sandwhiches only soy bologna and the list goes on..I drink organic milk and eggs..My diet is very comfortable.

I also can't understand why they come onto our site and open their mouths. I think they are curious about us and want what we have...why else would they be here.
I think that because of theory of comparision. OK its my theory but let me explain it to you.

Many of the people make their opinions based on exxaggerations. So when they compare themselves with vegetarians, it makes them look like that they are not capable enough or do not care enough for life.... etc. etc.

Then to counter it, they start hating vegetarians and try to make fun of them.
For your 'common sense' argument. There have only ever been 157 cases of humans catching mad cow disease. What's that out of the billions who eat beef? To give up beef on that basis requires a lack of any common sense whatsoever, it'd make more sense to never cross the road again, because how many people have died that way? I'll give you a clue, it's more than 157.

Criticising is not something everyone does. I'm glad you acknowledge that, but then why are you suggesting all meat eaters criticise you? I think probably a higher percentage of veggies criticise meat eaters than vice versa (consider that so many more people eat meat). You yourself are criticising us. You're also criticising us for generalising about veggies, ignoring that that is a huge generalisation in itself. I could go as far as to name that hypocrisy.
I always hear veggies going on about how their lifestyle is healthier for instance. That directly implies that our particular diet is unhealthy, which is not true if you'd bother to do some non-PETA funded research. If I was to say I thought veggism was unhealthy, and there is plenty of evidence saying thus, would you not take offence? Yes you would as that is the whole point of your topic, but veggies do just as bad all the time. That is why the 'veggies criticise too' argument is perfectly good. It at least cancels out any condemnation you get.
You are a classic example of why we make rude comments and give you a hard time.
You're going around raving about how great you are, how veggies rock, and how mean & rude carnivors are.
Unless I am rudely or sarcastically responding to someone like you, I don't go around telling the world how great meat is, or that I love to eat cows, or that vegetarians are a bunch of whiny little do-gooder wannabes.
And why is there no "meat lover's" catagory in YA food & drink section?
How about a nice spinach salad?
I EAT ANIMALS, IT'S INCREDIBLE, THEIR MEAT IS SO EDIBLE, TO ME, I EAT ANIMALS.
