I don't beleive this is a yes or no question, it really depends on what the Vegan is eating... if they only eat fruits and vegies and not nuts and vital omega 3 oils, compared to someone who eats a so called well balances meal in moderation then NO its not healthier. But if the vegan eats a well rounded Vegan diet to include proteins, compared to an Omnivore who eats McDonalds, KFC or other junk foods, then yes the Vegan's diet is healthier.
I have been on the vegan diet for 4 days now and in adddition to losing 4 lbs. I hav'nt felt this good since I was in my youth. I have so much energy, I do'nt ever plan on going back to meat, and I don't preach it, just hope for exceptance, as I'm sure your partner likes too! As for the dull and boring, so far I don't find it to be, I'm actually RAW FOODS VEGAN which is even more restrictive, and I just love thw quick meal prep. and less kitchen cleanup time! :)
