My favorite tofu recipe is chocolate mousse. Blend firm tofu with melted dark chocolate chips and sweetener (optional), then chill. The texture is incredible.
This is a great recipe. Just sub veggie stock for chicken stock.
Hot and Sour Soup
1 cake bean curd (tofu)
3 to 4 Chinese dried mushrooms, soaked
1 pint good chicken stock
1 Tbsp. rice wine or sherry
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp white pepper
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp. corn starch
2 Tbsp. shredded Bamboo shoots
1 egg, beaten
Thinly slice bean curd and the mushrooms. Bring the stock to a rolling boil, add the pork, bean curd and mushrooms, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, then add wine, soy sauce, peppers, vinegar and salt. Now blend the corn starch with a little cold water to make a smooth paste, pour into the soup slowly, stirring all the time. Add bamboo shoots and beaten egg in a thin stream, stirring constantly until egg cooks. Serve as soon as the soup thickens.

You can substitute firm tofu (chopped) for just about anything calling for hamburger meat (i.e. chili)
If you literally have no time and don't want to break your wallet on ingredients, simply pat the tofu dry and slice into thumb-sized bricks. Pan fry until golden brown and crispy and cover with a teryaki bbq sauce or any other one of your favorite bbq sauces, and sesame seeds.
It's simple and delicious. It's also $9 at a typical sushi house, and now you can make it for next to nothing, with a little preparation.
To be yummi its almost never quick and easy... But ifyou want quick and easy this is yummy to me. (I make it when I'm starving or in a hurry).
1 onion chunked
1 bell pepper chunked
a couple of slices of tofu
enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of a skillet
Heat the oil, with the onions and pepper, add the tofu slices.
Move the stuff a bit so it does'nt stick. Turn the tofu slices, so they cook on both sides. Once the togu is a golden colour on both sides, remove from heat. Add a couple of table spoons of spare ribs sauce that you buy in a jar, directly on the tofu.
serve with rice!
Tofu salad sandwish
Crush a bit of tofu
add some chopped cellery
some chopped green onions
mayonnaise
a pinch of parsley
salt and pepper
2 slices of whole wheat bread
some alfalfa sprouts
Voilà!
Cubes of tofu is also good when added to a pakage of oriental soup. I also add pieces of brocoly and red bell peppers. Delicious and very easy.
Orzo with Tomato and Fried Tofu

DIRECTIONS:
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add orzo pasta and cook for about 5 minutes, until tender. Drain.
2. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Fry the garlic and green onions for 20 to 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the tofu, and continue cooking until golden brown.
3. Stir in the tomatoes, lemon juice, and basil; cook for another minute. Combine with the cooked orzo pasta, season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve sprinkled with crumbled feta cheese.
