I make tacos all the time.
I just use ground Boca (comes in perfect little packs in the freezer) and heat it up in a pan with some salsa and a tiny amount of water.
When it thickens its done and heat up your shells and go.
Use any kind of fake beef and you're set.
I use it in spagetti, too.
YUM!
Get tofu and brown it up in a sautee pan.....throw in salt and pepper and taco seasoning and you will not know the difference
Just get Morning Star or Boco ground meat. it is vegetarian It is in the frozen food area. It is great use it for every thing just get Taco seasoning
I've had Quorn before. It was pretty good.

It's sold in the cold case (not freezer) with the veggie lunchmeats, etc. They have "Mexican" (ie. taco meat), regular ground, and ground "turkey" types (and more depending>cheese(pepperjack,cheddar,mozz... lard free taco shells."ARE THEY GOOD?" SHOOT! I CAN'T MAKE ENOUGH FOR THE PPL IN MY HOUSE,THEY WOLF THEM DOWN SO FAST I'M AFRAID SOMEONE'S GONNA' CHOKE! I DON'T EVEN GET THE CHANCE TO PUT THE LETTUCE ON THEM!OR THE AVOCADO!
