are you underweight, normal, overweight, obese, etc?
if you don%26#039;t mind posting height/weight, that helps too.
I%26#039;m trying to find a correlation between different diets and weight.
I don%26#039;t eat meat myself, so no I%26#039;m not hating on your lifestyle or trying to say you%26#039;re all anorexicly skinny or anything.
thanks!

This is not a very accurate study. There are too many factors involved. I mean you can have an omnivore that is active and eats lots of veggies be at a normal healthy weight and you can have a vegetarian that lives on refined carbs and chips and be overweight. In other words...being vegetarian does not automatically mean unhealthy OR healthy, underweight or overweight.
Anyhow..I%26#039;m 5%26#039;2 and weigh 115 lbs.
answer from chineseop.com cooking QA
I%26#039;m 6%26#039;2 and 170-175 pounds, it could be less cause I have lost a bit of weight, I even had to look online to check how I checked out on a Height and Weight Chart so I%26#039;m in the class of a Medium frame nearing a Small frame whatever that means haha.
I don%26#039;t know many vegetarians so I don%26#039;t know how I compare, my guess would be that most Vegetarians are skinny to normal weight but I had a 8th grade teacher that was kinda big, and a few years later she turned real big not to be mean haha but I mean Snack Cakes aren%26#039;t banned if your a vegetarian so I guess you can add weight that way.
I%26#039;m athletically fit though if that makes any difference.

I%26#039;m vegan
5ft 5inches
8 stone 1 pound
Which I know is not a million miles from being underweight but I used to be overweight, I exercise a lot and find I%26#039;m happier with myself like this - even though people tell me I%26#039;m %26quot;too skinny%26quot;.
answer from chineseop.com cooking QA
Being a vegan/vegetarian is not because you want to lose weight. It isn%26#039;t a weight loss diet. It is just a healthy way of eating. Vegetarianism is not a diet. I weigh the same as I did before becoming a Vegan.
