Kitty said: Yes.Vegetarians can eat carnivorous plants?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Vegetarians can eat carnivorous plants?),it will help you,my kids.
Answer:
No, because then you are eating digested animals (I know that's gross, but bear with me ^_^).
?
I don't think so.
Well, I guess so, but who would want to? Carnivorous plants eat BUGS. LOL I guess you would have to kill the plant first, otherwise it might eat you back!
Not likely to be an issue, as most carnivorous plants are probably not good to eat anyway. I've never had the urge to sautee up a pitcher plant or a Venus Flytrap.
But an interesting thought.
I would say no. They are not good to eat. But I have learned that
there are many different kinds of vegetarians. Some will eat fish or chicken, others dont eat any animal products.
NO BECAUSE THEN YOU ARE EATING PARTLY DIGESTED ANIMALS THAT THE PLANT HAD EATEN.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they are edible. So it shouldn't be an issue.
No. The key word is carnivorous.
They are not edible
