If they really believed then wouldn't they also believe God created Eden (what God saw as Paradise) where animals were companions to man and NOT there for food ..There was no animal flesh eaten until man sinned ... So can someone explain ??

Answer:
because they are soooooooooooooo wrong then they need a strong supporter(as god ) to cover up
Well he should not had made them so tastey! And we don't.
Shut up and go eat a Big Mac, then you will know why "we" eat meat!
I don't use God as an excuse to eat animals. I use salt, some secret spices and a nice wood fire in the grill.
some scripture in the bible mentions god saying that man rules over everything, and also that the cattle (or whatever) was for our livelihood. i don't know exactly what it says or where, but that pretty much sums it up.
It's part of the circle of life for humans to eat animals (animals eat other animals too). There's nothing religious about it. However, it's not part of the Circle of Life for human's to mistreat and abuse animals, such as penning up baby calfs for veal.
I'm a meat-eater, and I sure don't use god as an excuse - it's evolutionarily sound reasoning, if we never ate meat, we wouldn't have developped the brain to debate the moral implications of it!
I eat meat and i dont use God as an excuse :-o
As a male sinner, I happen to like a good piece of steak, or some barbecue ribs. I don't use God as an excuse. I do use a healthy appetite, as an excuse. However, I don't tell you what to eat, and I expect that you will respect my views as well.
My understanding is that man sinned by eating the forbidden fruit, an apple. Were they not allowed to eat everything in the garden, including meat (if they chose to) except the apple?

Can you imagine what the world would look like if we didn't eat those yummy animals, birds and fish? My goodness!!
I have never used the God excuse that I know of. However, early in man's evolution, they had to eat animals to stay alive. I believe the future will bring us all to become vegetarian, which is why the future humans are all thin, small and gray. We often call them aliens, but they are future humans coming to the past for whatever reason.
God didn't make bad food only good! Meat or anything else!
um i don't no about u lady but "we" hav never used god as an exuse 4 eating meat!!!
jeese!!
i eat meat and ive never heard that excuse. But in Proverbs 12:27 in the bible it say's "that the man who hunts for game and just kills it, and does not take possession of it for eating is a slothful man" The diligent hunter takes his game for food (roasting) and considers it a precious possession, as he has food for his family's table." But today there is many men that slaughtering animals for many wicked reasons.
Because it says in genesis that god gave people all the food of the earth to eat. One can interpret that to include animals.

How do you know that man didn't eat animal until he sinned, are you a theologan? I doubt it.

Lot's of people believe in god and eat meat.
While it is true that Adam and Eve ate from the Garden, when Noah came out of the ark, God told him and his family that the animals were to be used for food. When God instituted temple worship for the Israelites, He told them how to sacrifice the animals and what portion the priests were to receive to eat. When God saved the Israelites during the Passover, He had them prepare and eat a lamb. Stick with the fruit and vegetables if you wish. That is your prerogative, but it is also ours to eat meat. It is not a problem for God, so if we enjoy a good steak, what's the problem?
I guess they feel guilty, and need someone to give them permission to do something they really know is wrong.
The nearest many of them get to the poor creature they devour, is a supermarket counter.
I don't I just love meat no matter who sanctions it. Cows are delicious.
Alright, why would say a dumb thing like people use god as a reason to eat meat? Nobody says that, people eat meat because it tastes good and its been a main source of nourishment since fire. If it wasn't for mankind eating meat all of us probably would have died off or been killed off by more aggressive animals.
I'm not overly religous (I'll take Pascal's Wager, thanks), but I don't blame God for my appetite for meat.

I blame hunger.
here's a quarter...buy a life.
I'm a meat eater and I don't use God as an excuse; I use nature as my excuse. Our teeth are designed to tear off flesh which means we are made to eat meat. Perhaps slaughtering millions of cows and injecting them with hormones is not what nature intended; however, we will pay for that. Nature will always win in the end. By the way, if you're a vegetarian, I applaud you...........good luck!
God created vegetables. How dare vegetarians target vegetables for assault, boiling, knife attacks, biting, mashing, chopping, and other horrible treatment?
WHY don't you eat meat

It's yummy
First of all there is a specific passage in the Bible where it says God intented some animals to be consumed by people.

Take the passage from 1 Timothy 4:1 – 4:5, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer".

If you're a literal believer in the Bible, that passage pretty much sums up the arguement that God intended us to eat meat. HOWEVER, there are also scientific reasons for eating meat that have nothing to do with religion. Meat contains vital nutrients the body needs that are almost impossible to find anywhere else in nature. Our bodies are designed to consume and digest meat... why else would humans have canine teeth? Really there is much more evidence back the consumption of meat than there is against it.

Unfortunately the real reason many people try to present arguements against eating meat is because they feel sorry for the animals, but that is an emotion, not a scientific arguement. These people don't realize that if humans stopped consuming meat, many ecosystems on our planet would become chaotic, as well as animals such as the beef cow would become extinct... they are not a wild animal and no one is going to pay to keep a species around when they can't profit from it.
I eat steak three or four times a week , and the only time I include God in it is when I say the blessing ....

If God did not want us to eat animals , then why did he make them out of meat ??
As a meat eater I do not use God as an excuse to eat meat, even though I am a Christian.
Basically, things changed after Adam and Eve sinned and all sorts of bad things that didn't exist before came into being, such as war, famine, plagues etc.
In Genesis it does say that humans have authority over creation, but some believe that too changed when people first sinned and that the authority over nature and the elements are ruled over by the devil.
In summary, everything got flip-flopped because a dumb mistake.
I know. I think they shouldn't. I am not a meat eater. I hear people say that and that doesn't even make sense. Some perople try to make sense and say " If we don't eat them thay will be all over the place" they also say " If we don't eat fish they would swim in all the water int he wold"
As a child you cant tell the difference, so you do what your parents say and eat the meat. If your religious, youll eat meat based on what your religion says you can do. I eat meat cause im addicted. When I don't eat it I get cravings.
The bible is full of references to animals being used as prayer offerings to God. Sacrificing an animal and then "burning" it is said to offer a fragrance that God enjoyed. At least as far back as Abraham and Isaac, an angel from God told Abraham to slaughter the ram that was caught in the bushes and offer it up as a sacrifice.

And in Deuteronomy, Moses specifically tells the people what animals may and may not be eaten. Cows, sheep, goats, and anything that both chews its cud and has cloven hoofs may be eaten. Birds may be eaten, but not birds of prey. Fish can be eaten if they have fins and scales (no shellfish). And so forth.

In other words, the Bible clearly DOES say that animals can be used as food. Whether that means we should do so is another matter entirely. As sensitive beings, we can decide that our enjoyment of meat is outweighed by the pain it causes the animals. And as intelligent beings, we can decide that we are healthier with a plant-based diet. But that is up to us, not to Biblical direction.

I hope this helps. Good luck!!
Explain Gods' reasoning, no ! Explain why people use the rationale that God told them it was OK, then don't go to church on Sunday.....also no!
People who choose to eat meat are not sinning, just like you are OK not eating it! Each to his/her own. I eat meat but abhor maltreatment of animals...I don't think that it is BAD to eat meat, that's just the way we have been designed, I am not a sheep, I have the digestion and teeth to eat meat and I happen to like it....sorry if that upsets you, really!
BTW, I don't think that vegetarians are Saints and Angels in the making either! ;-) I just think they either don't like meat or don't like the idea of eating meat....there is no sinning here, either way!
I have seen them say that God gave us dominion over the earth so that we can use it as we see fit. Now I think that we should us it wisely and be good stewards of the earth, yes. I do not see anything wrong with eating animals. I like burgers, chicken and bacon. Different cultures have variations on what they do and don't commonly consume. I don't know how to say who decides what we can eat.
