Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(What are some good sources of Protein for Lacto-Ovo Vegetarians?),it will help you,my kids.
Answers:
Lacto-ovo vegetarians: include eggs and milk products in their
diets.
Protein. Your body needs protein to maintain healthy skin, bones, muscles and organs. Vegetarians who eat eggs or dairy products have convenient sources of protein. Other sources of protein include soy products, meat substitutes, legumes, lentils, nuts, seeds and whole grains.
Other Answers:
Tofu and soy.
The egg already has perfect protein. The only thing that matches the egg is beans and grains mixed. Remember, the darker the bean, the more nutrients it has. And for grains, get brown rice or basmati. That instant rice has nothing good for you. A lot of people don't know that meat comes short on the 9 essential amino acids even though they've been told that all their life.
Don't forget your dark leafy greens too.
I know you are a lacto also, but I would drink soy milk. It has a lot of protein and no hormones and none of the preservatives that milk has. That's your choice though. I'm not knocking you.
black beans
nuts.
Eggs, dairy products, legumes (soy, other beans, peanuts, lentils,) dark leafy greens, grains (pasta, rice, whole grain brean, etc...)
Eggs, yogurt (plain), kefir (plain), hard cheeses, tofu, seitan, tempeh, hemp seed, whey protein powder, TVP (texturized vegetable protein) and about a million meat "analogs" (fake meat) at the grocery or health food store (veggie burgers, dogs, lunch meat, ribs etc.), nuts (especially almonds), miso soup (watch for fish base in commerically prepared, though).
Eggs, Cheese, Nuts, Soy products.make Beans and Rice together, it gives you perfect protien plus carbs and fiber.
Eggs beans nut soy
WHole grains, beans, eggs, nuts...anything really! Everything has protein in it. It's almost impossible no to get enough. Most people have too much on a daily basis.
MEAT
milk, yougurt, cheeses
eggs, egg dishes (omelettes, quiches...)
nuts, nut butters
dried beans and peas
lentils
legumes
TVP (textured vegetable protein)
tofu and other soy products
