Kitty said: Yes.What is Tempeh? Can You make "Ice Cream" out of this?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(What is Tempeh? Can You make "Ice Cream" out of this?),it will help you,my kids.
I've heard You can make "ice cream" with Tempeh, Vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
Answers:
I've eaten tempeh a few times and from my experience, it was salty tasting. Now salty ice cream, ewwwww. I think you may have read about using silken tofu for ice cream, but not tempeh.
Other Answers:
Tempeh is a fermented food typically made from soybeans.
I've never heard it used to make ice cream. I typically fry them, or stir fry them in chili.

I can't imagine that as ice cream! Meat substitute, yes.
I just ran a quick search for tempeh ice cream and didn't find anything (I've never even considered the idea).
However; in the spirit of Iron Chef (where they've made fish ice cream(YUCK))...
Use a blender or food processor to puree the tempeh and then using enough flavorings and sweeteners would possibly make something edible<G>.
Hmmm, are you sure they didn't confuse tempeh and tofu? There are lots of tofu ice cream recipes along with ready made grocery store items.
