it stinks! i've never tasted it before, but some people say it tastes good. but i don't know how i could eat it without feeling sick from the smell.
i never smelt durian before but i can tell you this....strawberries smell...
I remember going shopping with my friend.i just picked up a few things which included a pint of strawberries.
All the way home, I kept smelling FARTS, always wondering why she would claim them because it wasn't me. I really thought our relationship changed because it was never a big deal to calim our farts, with a simple 'excuse me'.
Well, low and behold, got home. put the bags on the floor. grabbed the bag with the strawberries and voila!, FARTS.

I heard Durian tastes like rotten onions.
CANTALOUPE i can't stand it just the smell of it makes me gag lol and i hate looking at it just everything about that fruit stinks
DURIAN. They are not only nutrivtively void, but they actually smell like crap. In parts of Asia, and the Middle East, there are bans on selling them, or eating them in places like subways, or open bazaars.
Durian tastes good if you like month old jackfruit in which alll the starch has degraded to simple sugars. Eww
Durians will take the first place and papayas coming in second with a slim difference.
There are two fruits that have very strong smells. The durian and another one like a pear - can't think of the name right now,
