If you are trying to get more calcium in your diet, I suggest that you try Chelated Calcium which is in a pill form. You can purchase it at your local drugstore (well most of them !) or purchase it online. Your body requires 900mg of calium just to lay in bed and breath thus you would have to have a ton of calcium in your food to get this much in it's natural state. The chelated calcium has no animal products in it.
Just a side note, I had a bone density test done last week and was over the normal limit for a person my age, thus prompting the doctor to tell me to continue what I was doing ! Also, the excess chelated calcium will not stay in your system causing any calcium deposits.
