Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Why do meat eaters come to the Vegetarian section and demand to know why we are -I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Why do meat eaters come to the Vegetarian section and demand to know why we are ),it will help you,my kids.
I never see Vegetarians over in the general food section preaching, but I see many meat eaters over here harrassing the Vegetarians.
Answer:
After seeing those first two answers maybe it's time we DID start trolling the other sections<G>!
I will say that I have seen ONE veggie troll question in the Food>General category once but Yahoo deleted the question in less than a day (unlike their response to the trolls here).
Just remember that in their sub-conscious they *know* we are right and since it threatens their Id they have no other choice but to hassle us or risk losing all sense of self.
In the meantime just formulate abuse reports referencing the terms of service and community guidelines they violate with their trolls and after enough violations they'll go away (one way or another). The only problem with this approach is that their are always new doofs to turn in<g>.
If you don't like it, don't contribute to it by asking this sort of question.
Don't want to be trolled? Don't respond to the trolling.
I actually think it's the other way around. I find that vegetarians are much more rude about their preferences. When vegetarians eat at someone's house it's expected that a vegetarian option be provided. However vegetarians do not provide the same courtesy when meat eaters come to their houses.
I'm a meat eater, & I have no need to harass anybody. If you're a vegetarian, go for it.
I agree John. Its fairly obvious that the meateaters who post here are far to generalistic to be considered credible.
"I knew a veggie once who attacked me for eating meat", " i know a vegan who's pale and weak", "why do all veggies insult meateaters"....all generalisations that are just made up.
I've posted 2 questions about meateaters in the "General Section" but they were both a response to the meat-eating abusers who post here.
And, actually, i don't see anything wrong with Veggies posting the "general " section....its not called "meateaters" section, is it ?
and as for preaching, i only ever see that from meateaters here. surely veggies are allowed to be proud of thier choices in the Vegetarian and Vegans section ???
Do you think they all go around thier town into meetings about topics they disagree with just to abuse the people ? No, doubt it.......silly annoying children
The first 2 answers are so typical of meateaters in this forum that is quiter laughable. They have completely missed the point or gone off on a tangent about something else....all we need now is a mention of canine teeth, the bible says so, meat tastes so good.....etc.......
Its also funny how all these meateaters seem to know millions of veggies. Besides our vegetarian business ( bed and breakfast ) i don't think I know any other veggies...and yet the meateaters all know loads of them.
Curiosity!! I am vegan, but I love to look at other food sections and answer questions . When I read some of the comments in these, I realise that some people cross all sections and insult everyone, so the best advice is ignore them, and dont take them too seriously, as they will never understand where we are coming from in our lifestyle choice, especially those of us who began as meat eaters, and now choose the plant based diet!!
In all fairness there are plenty of vegetarians/vegans who preach to meat eaters. Maybe they aren't on Youtunr.com, but I've met some people who tried to push their vegetarian lifestyle onto others a little too much. I think it stems from a little bit of insecurity (from either group) and the need for validation of a person's choices.
All that being said, I myself am pretty losely a vegetarian (I eat seafood, poultry, and dairy) and I try my hardest to not be an imposition on others when I go somewhere to eat. It's crucial to be understanding of others' choices and not take offense if they don't agree with yours.
