Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Why do vegans have their non-meat products in the shape of meat products. eg. ri-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Why do vegans have their non-meat products in the shape of meat products. eg. ri),it will help you,my kids.
Answer:
to avoid always being blamed when a fart materialises and also to appear normal in front of normal meat eating people like myself for instance
hhahahahha that is a great question maybe they should have them shaped like carrots or peppers or something
because they are simulated products that are supposed to be the alternative yet taste look the same as the real disgusting fatty dead animal
they just wanna fit in with us
nostalgia
Sounds like doggie treats don't it.
So that if they go to a bbq or something, they can appear to be eating the same thing as everyone else. This can help them avoid the anti-vegans.
The reason is they don't want to be redaculled for not eating meat.
Most people who have converted from eating meat to veganism or vegetarianism often have a craving for meat. Non-meat products cooked in the way meat is cooked, or shaped in such a manner appeals visually at least. Soya chunks even give you the rubbery feeling of meat between your teeth! I guess thats why...
However, most vegetarians or vegans by birth cannot agree with anything that looks like meat and will not eat foods that are vegan just because they resemble meat products.
Because it's a convenient way of forming a food product...nothing more and nothing less....
It's good you ask questions because that's the only way your going to become educated. For me, I enjoyed eating meat and soy meats taste even better than real meat. I quit eating meat after this:
