You don't go into deep sleep because your body is trying to digest it. Soft cheese doesn't have the same effect. Lots of your dreams are weird but you don't remember them because you are in deep sleep!

I think it's a myth. Cheese does not affect my dreams.
I think it would be very difficult to test, because one persons weird is another persons normal.
I can't say I have weird dreams in concentrated amounts when I eat cheese. It sounds like some other people do though....

It's not just cheese. I ate some beans late at night, and I dreamed a bull was chasing me around the outside of the house and every time I passed the front door I would yell for my daughter to let me in, she would stick her head out the door and say you missed again.
If cheese causes weird dreams, I think it's because of the guilt. Animals suffer for your grilled cheese sandwich.
