Kitty said: Yes.Will veggie chicken ever taste as good as the real thing?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Will veggie chicken ever taste as good as the real thing?),it will help you,my kids.
Answer:
I don't know where you are from, but in NYC, there is a Chinese restaurant, Vegetarian Dim Sum house, on Pell st..- amazing chicken and broccoli (all the food is awsome, actually), and all my meat eating, or ex-meat eating friends cannot believe that it isn't meat.
BTW - I cant stand people who criticize those who eat fake meats. If someone makes the transition to the veggie life, what difference does it make? They were raised on certain taste and textures, and the familiar makes people feel good. At least they made the commitment to not eating meat!
HELL NO nothing tastes the same as the REAL thing
No.
No. Despite what vegans and vegetarians will tell you. It won't.
No. Give up your quest. Plant-based foods just can't taste like meat. If you've decided to give up chicken, then you have to resign yourself to just not eating chicken. Instead of vainly trying to look for a substitute, put your energy into finding dishes you like just as much that are made with ingredients that are what they're meant to be.
My son often asks me the same question and I tell him when it contains chicken. He chooses to be vegetarian as do you. Try adding flavors that are associated with chicken such as poultry seasoning or sage.
No. Taste is determined by a variety of things, and one is the unique interaction of fat with the tongue. Over millions of years of evolution, the human body learned that FAT is where it's AT! High in energy, it was obtained by our ancesters from bone marrow.
Humans used tools to crack bones that other predators could not, and get at that wonderfully hi-calorie bone marrow.
Fat is where we got a lot of our nutritional requirements.
Until they find a fat substitute that tastes as good as real animal fat, you're condemned to "almost as good" foods.
If you have to eat something that taste like chicken than you should not be a veggie.
Nothing will taste as good as meat, unless it is meat. I feel so bad for those whose conscience got the best of them or those who were convinced, they will leve longer, because thier body needs meat to repair itself.
No. There's nothing like the real thing, baby, etc,
I think it tastes better because you know you won't get fat from it. And being not fat after years of being fat tastes really really good.
Veggie chicken will never be as good as real chicken simply because it isn't. Once you come to appreciate the veggie chicken for what it is you will find that while it may not taste like chicken, it is still pretty good.
No, unless the taste of meat disgusts you
never, the real thing will always have its original good taste.
Quorn brand does..especially the tenders (which are more like chunks)
No fake meat should be eaten by itself as it won't be quite the same. It should be used in recipes for which the flavor comes mostly from the other ingredients. For example fake chicken strips taste good in a casserole or stir fry. Fake ground meat taste good in spag sauce and chili, etc.
