The durian.It's from Thailand and is known to smell like rotten meat.

PS. for the people that are writing mangos because they have no taste. Try one from the islands, not the stuff that's imported to the US before they are ripe. Dominican Republic mangos are sweet and taste great.

I'll have to agree with the durian crowd. When it is good it tastes like garlic pudding. Unfortunately the fruit is frequently overripe and the taste is not very enjoyable at all. Like mentioned by others, the smell of the fruit is off-putting and eating holding one's nose is kind of difficult! I don't know about rotting meat, but the other answer of dirty socks may be more accurate (lol)!
