You will still need to get plenty of iron and protein.
Some good sources of iron are: Spinach, brocolli, and Total cereal.

A nice dish i like to make gives you both of these.
Make up enough rice for yourself. Add as many black beans as you want. Stir in salsa and steamed brocolli. You can eat this on chips, or with a fork, and it tastes delicious.
There are a lot of things you can eat on this diet. If you don't have any vegetarian or vegan friends, try and find some, they are invaluble to someone just starting out. There are a lot of tricks to eating right with this diet. I have seen it go very wrong. So make sure you eat well, and eat enough.
Just please don't go raw. They think that by cooking food you get rid of nutrients, but it is just the opposite. There are many vegetables that need to be cooked to allow their nutrients to be absorbed by our bodies.

Well, I've been a veg. for a year and I eat soy chicken, vegetables, ICE CREAM!!! lol anything that iz hi in proteen would work. I know whenever I feel like I'm not getting enough proteen, I cut up those proteen bars into 3 parts. I eat one part in breakfast, one part in lunch, and the last part in dinner! I hope my advice helped!!
