Bathtub gin is the generic term used to describe low rate or toxic alcohol that was made during Prohibition. This stuff was usually made in bathtubs using household chemical and low rate grains. As far as moonshine goes its a little trickier. If you dont get it right you could blow up your still and anything around it.
