Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days, anyone help us?
Kitty said: Yes.Can you name any jammy wines?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Can you name any jammy wines?),it will help you,my kids.
Now, I'd consider myself something of a well-mentored appreciator of wines, but I'm still only 21 so have yet to try a great many. I was wondering if anyone can name me some particularly good wines (either grape or maker) which have a particularly jammy palette...I hope you know what I mean; very dense, rich concentrated fruit characters, usually with hints of plum, damson and wild strawberries. If you know any whites with equally interesting qualities (there's green/white-fruit jams too), please include those too.
Answers:
Zinfandels (red NOT WHITE) are traditionally fruity and jammy. Sineann makes some excellent Zins and I think that BV has a nice one here and there.
Go to a small wine shop and tell them what you like, they should be able to point you in the right direction. Also, if any shops have tastings, attend them to get a well rounded perspective. Have Fun!!! : )
Other Answers:
If you have not already done so you may wish to try an Australian Shiraz - Penfolds Thomas Hyland or, if you can find it, a brand known as Yellow Tail Shiraz.
Regards
I can speak to you long time about french wine.
But just two hints :
- White wine : "Vin jaune du Juras" is a wine with
a very great smell and taste of walnut. If you like walnut, you have to test this wine.
- Red wine : For the red wine to give a specific taste it's more difficult because it depends the climat, the year, and so on.
But try a POMEROL (Bordeaux) to the taste of violet.
Good taste !!
